| Our client, a well-established nonprofit operator of CCRC properties and Home & Community Based Services, is seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Sales to join their executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will be responsible for all marketing, sales, and communications strategies for an organization nearing $100 million in annual revenues. Current occupancy in their operating communities is very strong and HCBS utilization is high, so this role will be focused in large part on branding, market analysis, sales training, and the creation of a vision for the future. For the past 70 years, this progressive organization has provided outstanding service to their clients through a variety of programs, both within traditional brick-and-mortar operations as well as community-based programs such as home health, hospice, personal services, adult day care, transportation and home-delivered meals. |
The Vice President of Marketing and Sales will oversee the creation and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated branding effort to increase awareness of the full continuum of services offered. Utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, he or she will facilitate strong relationships at all levels of the organization to achieve budgeted census and utilization in all service lines. The corporate culture is supportive and collaborative, and provides a stable platform for the development of new products and services. There is a strong sense of partnership and joint accountability between marketing, operations, finance, and other teams to advance strategies and plans. The Vice President of Marketing and Sales will gather appropriate data, perform needed analytics on market demographics and population health data, and effectively advise the organization on growth strategies for all areas of operation. In addition, the VPMS will lead the marketing and sales team including responsibility for hiring, terminating, mentoring and staff development, and working cross-functionally with other departments.
The successful candidate will be a solutions-focused strategic marketing leader with a proven ability to deliver effective marketing, sales and communication strategies and tools to advance organizational goals and drive profitable growth. Demonstrated experience in the development of new products and services, as well as branding and sales within a Senior Housing environment, will be mandatory for this role. We are looking for a results-driven leader who is able to inspire the team around a shared set of expectations and outcomes, establish clear written goals, and support the team toward achieving the outlined expectations. A minimum of 7+ years of successful and progressively expanding marketing and sales experience, ideally in a multi-entity/multi-state CCRC or senior living organization is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is highly desired. Compensation for this position is strong and relocation support will be provided.
