Overview The Business Development Intern is a confident and creative individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As Emerging Strategy’s first point of contact with prospective clients, the position requires a highly motivated professional who can use their understanding of market trends to craft a compelling introduction to Emerging Strategy’s resources and capabilities.
Responsibilities Support with Identifying and prioritizing potential customers Support setting up meetings for the sales team Help prepare the sales team for interactions with potential customers Articulating the value of our product to potential clients through clear and crisp research and business writing and email communications that are “client ready” Doing what it takes to help the sales team meet aggressive quarterly targets for new customer acquisition and revenue
Accountabilities Supporting the BDA and Sales Directors with meeting weekly, monthly and quarterly targets for pipeline activity (meetings set up) Ensure that our CRM contains accurate account details and contact information for members and prospects
Interest in sales or marketing Strong articulation skills through excellent writing, oral communication and presentation Ability to learn new things quickly and independently and the ability to “figure out” a solution when stuck High degree of computer literacy, knowledge of common business productivity tools and concepts, excellent Microsoft Office skills
Full-time paid internship $2200 per month plus bonus potential
