Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this position directs the strategic development and execution for a global portfolio of alumni-granting programs offered by Harvard Business School Executive Education (HBS Exed) with on-campus and in-region modules in Mumbai, Dubai, Shanghai, as well as other venues to be determined. In addition, this position will lead the marketing efforts for large convening event-style programs that will take place in a variety of regions, including Europe, South America, and South Asia. The position may also lead marketing efforts for on-campus programs as needed.
Responsibilities include the formulation and implementation of comprehensive, program-specific marketing campaigns utilizing targeted direct mail, email marketing, paid search, display advertising, and social media channels. Position requires close collaboration with internal marketing team, external writers, designers, and other vendors, as well as with HBS faculty and Exed administration.
Oversee the development and evaluation of content and design of all marketing communication materials for campaigns
Collaborate with internal digital, web, and social media teams to develop email and direct mail campaigns to promote portfolio of programs, ensure that current content is well represented on the website, and plan targeted social campaigns
Collaborate with internal analytics team to provide regular analysis (trends, KPIs) for email, display, and social campaigns; use data to optimize campaigns
Direct freelance writers, proofreaders, and other outside vendors
Work closely with HBS faculty and other Executive Education and HBS staff to develop program content
Oversee campaign budgets and invoicing
Partner with agency to oversee Chinese translation of messaging, design, and approvals for Shanghai-based programs.

5+ years of global marketing experience managing complex marketing projects.
Knowledge of regional and cultural dynamics is key. Position requires excellent relationship management skills, proven project management skills, strong analytical ability, and superior written and verbal communication skills. The ability to respond independently and with flexibility under tight deadlines is critical. Experience with Salesforce preferred. Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is a plus.
