Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) You will be responsible for the research, design, development and presentation of marketing and promotional materials intended to support the sale of products and/or services for the UnitedHealthcare Global products. The role will also involve the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing event programme in different locations throughout Europe. Primary Responsibilities:Develops innovative approaches to producing engaging marketing materials for members, brokers and decision makers Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them Champions the use of easy to understand terminology for members Works with cross functional teams including Product, Clinical, Sales and Operations Performs complex conceptual analyses Forecasts and plans documentation delivery timelines Provides explanations and information to others on the approach to documentation design Develop and deliver marketing materials for use by applicable audiences (e.g., sales training / education efforts, marketing outreach efforts, marketing events / trade shows) Develop specific materials for segments in the market as required (e.g. industry specific, county specific) Undertake review of competitor documentation and also best in class marketing materials from other providers outside of the industry to benchmark best in class Demonstrate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and compliance requirements Demonstrate understanding of applicable business strategies / goals and how they can address customer requirements and marketing efforts Demonstrate understanding of applicable products and services (e.g., features, benefits, audiences, differentiators) Develop understanding of applicable sales channels (e.g., consultants, brokers, trade groups in the insurance industry) to drive marketing material design Develop understanding of impact of cultural requirements on documentation in different geographic locations Build relationships with external marketing and printing agencies to deliver within allocated budgets Develop a comprehensive annual plan of broker and industry events with inputs from the sales teams in identified regions Ensure that the messaging used in marketing communications/materials support / align with marketing strategies (e.g., value proposition) Align messaging across all applicable marketing channels / materials / audiences (e.g., brand messaging) Develop messaging in alignment with applicable governance processes / procedures (e.g., CMS / DOI / state requirements, reading levels, language requirements, disclaimers) Align marketing communications / materials with the needs of the applicable audience (e.g., reading levels, complexity, and messaging, cultural alignment) Develop and incorporate knowledge of health literacy practices into marketing communications / materials, as applicable (e.g., "Just Plain Clear" Health Literacy Initiative) Develop and implement marketing campaign tactics (e.g., project plans, budgets, test plans, creative execution) Ensure that contractual or regulatory requirements are addressed in marketing initiatives / campaigns Ensure that marketing initiatives / campaigns adhere to applicable processes/procedures / requirements (e.g., spending limits, review / approval processes, branding) Ensure that marketing efforts target applicable internal and external audiences / constituencies, in alignment with business goals (e.g., customers, members, brokers / consultants) Identify/develop / review creative concepts/content for marketing strategies / initiatives/ campaigns Develop/execute lead generation development and pipeline acceleration campaigns / activities Ensure that deliverables from external partners (e.g., ad agencies) are aligned with applicable marketing goals, strategies and initiatives Develop / revise plans for future initiatives / campaigns based on analysis of results / outcomes from previous initiatives / campaigns (e.g., budgetary requirements)
Required Qualifications:Marketing degree or equivalent experience. Experience in the insurance industry Ability to speak and write in other languages Experience in designing marketing materials and documents Experience in document management processes Event management experience Demonstrate technical knowledge of digital marketing Seasoned professional marketer having designed a portfolio of documentation to match customer needs Preferred Qualifications:Digital marketing experienceCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
